Blessed are you, Adonai, Life of all the World,

who returned my soul to my body this morning.

 

Blessed are you, Adonai, Divine and Beautiful One,

who gave my eyes the ability to tell day from night.

 

Blessed are you, Adonai, Breath of all the World,

who gives earth abundant water so all who need can drink.

 

Blessed are you, Adonai, Divine and Beautiful One

who makes us see those unseen by others.

 

Blessed are you, Adonai, Life of all the World, 

who fills our hearts with compassion, and we clothe the naked.

 

Blessed are you, Adonai, Divine and Beautiful One,

who fills our hearts with courage to free the captives.

 

Blessed are you, Adonai, Breath of all the World

who fills our hearts with love to help those in need

 

Blessed are you, Adonai, Divine and Beautiful One,

who gives us bodies that can move and sing and cry.

 

Blessed are you, Adonai, Life of all the World,

who gives me food and warmth and laughter.

 

Blessed are you, Adonai, Divine and Beautiful One,

who gives us the wisdom and courage to pursue justice.

 

Blessed are you, Adonai, Breath of all the World,

who crowns the wondrous world with splendor.

 

Blessed are you, Adonai, Divine and Beautiful One,

you teach us the worth of every human being. 

 

Blessed are you, Adonai, Life of all the World,

who made me free.

 

Blessed are you, Adonai, Divine and Beautiful One,

who made me a Jew.

 

Blessed are you, Adonai, Breath of all the World,

who gives strength and sustenance to the weary.
